Dunn - Simmons

Wes and Tracey Tripp of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Halie Dawn Dunn, to Timothy Marcus Simmons. He is the son of Deena Ring of Jackson and Mark and Karla Simmons of Olive Branch, Ill.

Dunn is a 2009 graduate of Central High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2013. She is employed in the Residence Life office at the university.

Simmons is a 2009 graduate of Central High School. He expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in agri business from Southeast in May 2013. He is employed with Consolidated Grain and Barge in Memphis, Tenn.

An Aug. 10, 2013, wedding is planned at Deerfield Lodge.
