SHOOK, Mo. -- Brenda Douglas of Shook announces the engagement of her daughter, Lakota Jeanne Douglas, to Russell Len Myers. He is the son of Lenzie Myers and Janice Cloninger of Zalma, Mo. Douglas is a 1989 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She received a bachelor's degree in political science from Southeast Missouri State University in 1996. SHOOK, Mo. -- Brenda Douglas of Shook announces the engagement of her daughter, Lakota Jeanne Douglas, to Russell Len Myers. He is the son of Lenzie Myers and Janice Cloninger of Zalma, Mo.

Douglas is a 1989 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She received a bachelor's degree in political science from Southeast Missouri State University in 1996. She is an AmeriCorps volunteer.
