Edward "Bud" and Ann Crites of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Kay Crites, to Joe H. McLemore, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Marilyn and Joe Whitmore and Bob and Darlene McLemore, all of Jackson.

Crites is a graduate of Central High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is assistant manager at Baisch and Skinner Wholesale Florist.

A June 12 wedding is planned at Grace United Methodist Church.
