Crites - Sims

Alan and Dixie Crites of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Kacie Crites, to Peyton Sims, both of Denver, Colo. He is the son of Pat and Gayle Gorham of Jackson and Ronnie Sims of Caruthersville, Mo.

Crites is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She expects to receive a master's degree in nursing leadership from the University of Colorado-Denver in December 2013. She is a registered nurse at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora.

Sims is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a degree in finance from Southeast. He is a margins analyst with Charles Schwab in Englewood, Colo.

A March 30, 2013, wedding is planned at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas.
