Mr. and Mrs. Steve Crain of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Elizabeth Crain, to Alex Dunlap Parsons. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Crain of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Elizabeth Crain, to Alex Dunlap Parsons. He is the son of Martha Parsons of Cape Girardeau, and the late Eugene Parsons.

Crain expects to receive a degree in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University in December 2007.

Parsons is a 2005 graduate of Kettering University, and expects to receive a master's degree in engineering management from the University of Louisville in Kentucky in December. He is an engineer at Ford Super Duty Truck Plant in Louisville.

A Dec. 15 wedding is planned.
