Cook-Pierson

Donna Seabaugh and Rodney Seabaugh of Jackson and Bill Cook of Delta announce the engagement of their daughter, Scarlett Jo Cook, to Richard Brian Pierson, both of Murphysboro, Ill. He is the son of Richard A. and Lynn Pierson of Murphysboro.

Cook is a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School, and a 2003 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a teacher's aide at Carbondale High School and a computer salesperson at Best Buy in Carbondale, Ill.

Pierson is a 1998 graduate of Murphysboro High School, 2001 graduate of John A. Logan Community College, and 2003 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. He is employed with central control operations at SIU-C.

A March 11, 2006, wedding is planned.
