Cook is attending Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Ill. She is employed at Mid-America Rehab in Cape Girardeau.

Ferguson is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is associate minister at Mount Auburn Christian Church in Cape Girardeau.
