Cook-Carlton

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Kenneth and Diane Cook of Chaffee announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Therese Cook, to Matthew John Carlton. He is the son of Michael and Karen Matthews of Columbia, Ill., and Richard Carlton of St. Louis.

Cook is a 2001 graduate of Delta High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in English and secondary education from Webster University. She is a teacher and coach in the Hillsboro School District.

Carlton is a 1993 graduate of Windsor High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in education and a master's degree in education administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is a teacher in the Mehlville School District.

A Nov. 3 wedding is planned at St. Joseph Church in Imperial, Mo.
