Cook - Taylor

Steven Cook and Teresa Cook of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Staci Dawn Cook, to Kenneth James Taylor, both of Birmingham, Ala. He is the son of Johnnie and Karen Taylor of Hattiesburg, Miss.

Cook is a 2004 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2008.

Taylor is a 2003 graduate of Harrison Central High School in Gulfport, Miss. He received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi, and is pursuing a master's degree in anesthesia at Samford University in Birmingham.

A June 6 wedding is planned in Birmingham.
