Cook - Brinkmeyer

Michael and Lynda Cook of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Kathleen Cook, to David John Brinkmeyer, both of O'Fallon, Mo. He is the son of David and Jean Brinkmeyer of O'Fallon.

Cook is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Southeast Missouri State University in 2010, and plans to attend pharmaceutical school this fall. She is a clinical affairs specialist at bioMerieux Inc. in St. Louis.

Brinkmeyer is a 2005 graduate of Fort Zumwalt West High School. He is employed by Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. in O'Fallon.

A June 9 wedding is planned at the Butterfly House in Chesterfield, Mo.
