PATTON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Colson of Sandersville, Ga., and Judy Colson of LaVergne, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Veronica Carroll Colson, to George Brooks Whitlow. PATTON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Colson of Sandersville, Ga., and Judy Colson of LaVergne, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Veronica Carroll Colson, to George Brooks Whitlow. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Whitlow of Patton.

Colson is pursuing a degree in elementary education at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn. She is office administrator at EYT.

Whitlow is a 2000 graduate of Meadow Heights High School. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Trevecca University. He is employed at SunTrust Bank.

A May 29 wedding is planned at Trevecca Community Church of the Nazarene in Nashville.
