Doyle and Sheila Collier of Lenexa, Kansas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Raye Collier, to Dr. Stephen Randal Miinch II, both of Cape Girardeau. Miinch is the son of Patti Miinch and the late Stephen Miinch.
Taylor is a 2006 graduate of Olathe Northwest High School in Olathe, Kansas, and a graduate of Baker University, earning a bachelor's degree in art history and business management and marketing. She was a store manager and district trainer for New York and Co. in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, before moving to Cape Girardeau in July.
Steve graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 2005 and from the University of Missouri in 2009, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then studied at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated with a doctorate in osteopathic medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and is working as a hospitalist at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
An Oct. 29 wedding is planned at Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Missouri.
