Coalter-Parker

Ted and Debbie Coalter of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Renee Coalter, to Steven Chad Parker. He is the son of Steve and Carrie Parker of Sikeston, Mo.

Coalter is a 1999 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor's degree in health management and marketing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2004. She is employed at Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Parker is a 1999 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School. He expects to receive a bachelor's degree in integrated marketing communications from Southeast in May. He is pursuing a career in agriculture.

A March 26 wedding is planned at First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau.
