Clifton - Siemers

Karen Clifton of Frohna, Mo., announces the engagement of her daughter, Kristen Elizabeth Clifton, to Justin Lee Siemers. He is the son of Jerry and Patti Siemers of Cape Girardeau. Kristen is also the daughter of the late Eugene Clifton.

Kristen is a 2004 graduate of Perryville High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in social work from Southeast Missouri State University in 2012. She is a victims advocate at Beacon Health Center/SEMO-NASV.

Justin is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. He is employed at Windy Vue Farms and is a firefighter/emergency medical technician with Cape Girardeau Fire Department.

An Oct. 11 wedding is planned at Deerfield Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
