Clements - James

Frank James and Steve and Diane Boyer of St. Louis announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Elyse Clements, to Nickolas Lee James. He is the son of Bill and Dina James of Doniphan, Mo.

Clements is a 2003 graduate of Bayless High School, and is completing the nursing program at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is employed at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.

James is a 2000 graduate of Doniphan High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in education from Webster University in 2005. He is a science teacher at Woodland Middle School in Marble Hill, Mo.

An Aug. 2 wedding is planned at Concord Baptist Church in Sunset Hills, Mo.
