Robert A. Chronister Sr. and Anna M. Chronister of Friedheim announce the engagement of their daughter, LeeAnn Marie Chronister, to Michael Warren Phipps of St. Ann, Mo. He is the son of Patricia A. Garamella of Chicago and William C. Phipps of Coos Bay, Ore.

Chronister is a 1992 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She is employed at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Mo.

Phipps is a 1993 graduate of Sutherlin High School in Sutherlin, Ore., and a 1995 graduate of Missouri College in Kirkwood. He is employed at Mercy Health Plans in St. Louis.

A May 3 wedding is planned at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
