Carol Christopher and Mark Gibson of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Alana Christopher, to William Bennett Bradley. He is the son of Ed and Suzie Bradley of Kensington, Md.

Christopher is pursuing a degree in social work at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Bella Italia.

Bradley received bachelor degrees in theology and government from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and bachelor and master degrees in nursing from Columbia University in New York. He is a family nurse practitioner with SEMO Health Network.

A Dec. 21 wedding is planned at Francine's Gardens.
