Christian - Sherman

DEXTER, Mo. -- Cathy Christian and Dennis and Traci Christian of Dexter announce the engagement of their daughter, Tory Lee Christian, to Drew William Sherman. He is the son of Matt and Connie Sherman of Advance, Mo.

Christian is a 2005 graduate of Dexter High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in cell and molecular biology from Missouri State University in Springfield in 2009, and a master of science degree in physician assistant studies from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 2012. She is a physician assistant at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter.

Sherman is a 2005 graduate of Advance High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in insurance and risk management from Missouri State University in 2009. He is a personal and commercial lines insurance agent with W.E. Walker-Lakenan, LLC.

A June wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Dexter.
