Carlyon is a 1994 graduate of Northwest High School. She is an underwriter for Creve Coeur Mortgage in St. Louis.

Kaempfer received a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999. He is a design engineer with Potter Electric Signal Co. in St. Louis.
