Byrum - Gilliland

Barbara Byrum of Cape Girardeau and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Byrum of Sikeston, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Amy Byrum, to Ronald Neal Gilliland. He is the son of Shirley Gilliland of Advance, Mo., and the late Charles Gilliland.

Byrum is a graduate of Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University. She is a parent educator with Nell Holcomb and Oak Ridge school districts.

Gilliland is a graduate of Zalma High School and Southeast University. He is a quality engineer with Nordenia USA.

An Oct. 25 wedding is planned.
