Buttrey - Carter

Beth and Charles Counts of Jackson and John Buttrey of San Antonio, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Renea Buttrey, to Benjamin Matthew Carter, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Carolyn Carter of Tamms, Ill., and Robert Carter of Elco, Ill.

Buttrey is a 2003 graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is a medical coder at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Carter is a 2003 graduate of Central High School. He is employed at Orgill Inc. in Sikeston, Mo.

A Dec. 3 wedding is planned at Grace United Methodist Church.
