Burnham - Wilkins

Bill and Helen Burnham of Columbia, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Smith Burnham, to Marcus Owen Wilkins, both of Columbia. He is the son of Teri Wilkins Crain of Cape Girardeau and John A. Wilkins of Longmont, Colo.

Burnham received a bachelor of arts degree in communications and a master's degree in social work from the University of Missouri. She is a social worker with Veterans Administration in Columbia.

Wilkins received a bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Missouri. He is a writer with the University of Missouri Publications in Columbia.

An Oct. 16 wedding is planned at the Stauffer Home in Columbia.
