Burnett - Cook

Carla Burnett of Cape Girardeau and Jay Burnett of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Renee Burnett, to Noland Jeremiah Cook. He is the son of Mark and Lana Cook of Cape Girardeau.

Burnett is a 2007 graduate of Central High School. She expects to graduate in December from Southeast Missouri State University, where she is majoring in mass media-radio and minoring in sports management. She is employed at Pagliai's Pasta and Pizza and at Mississippi River Radio.

Cook is a 2005 graduate of Central High School. He expects to graduate in May from Southeast, where he is majoring in mass media-radio and minoring in sports management. He is employed at KFVS12 and at Mississippi River Radio.

A June 5 wedding is planned at First General Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
