Burdin -- Foote

David Burdin and Sarah Kinchen Burdin of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Elisabeth Burdin of Cape Girardeau, to Thomas Michael Foote, also of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Michael Lynn and Dianne McKay Foote of St. Charles, Missouri.

Caroline graduated in 2008 from Santa Fe Catholic High school in Lakeland, Florida, and went on to graduate from Southeast Missouri State University. While at Southeast, Caroline was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She is employed at Precision Insurance and Financial Services Inc. in Cape Girardeau, where she works in finance.

Thomas graduated in 2006 from St. Charles High School in St. Charles and went on to graduate from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration-finance. While at Southeast, Thomas was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Thomas also is employed at Precision Insurance and Financial Services Inc. in Cape Girardeau, where he is a commercial truck insurance producer.

A Dec. 5 wedding is planned at Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Louis. The couple will be wed by Pastor Sam O Pulliam.
