Brueggeman - Ludwig

Marianne McCormick of Cape Girardeau announces the engagement of her daughter, Deana Marie Brueggeman, to Chad Eric Ludwig. He is the son of Charlie and Mary Ludwig of Jackson. Brueggeman is also the daughter of the late Dean McCormick.

Brueggeman is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor's degree in special education from Quincy University in 2006, and a master's degree in elementary administration from William Woods University in 2011. She is a special-education teacher with Jackson School District.

Ludwig is a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School, and is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University Police Academy. He is a police officer in Jackson.

A June 6 wedding is planned in Negril, Jamaica.
