Brown-Rhodes

Dr. Mike and Dianne Brown of Englewood, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Lynne Brown, to Scott Michael Rhodes. He is the son of Vernon "Pee-Wee" and Carole Rhodes of Cape Girardeau.

Brown is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. She expects to receive a master of arts in higher education administration from Southeast Missouri State University in May.

Rhodes is a graduate of Southeast. He is vice president of Plaza Tire Service Inc. in Cape Girardeau.

A September wedding is planned at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
