Broshuis - Melton

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Rick and Beverly Broshuis of Advance announce the engagement of their daughter, Alicia Ann Broshuis, to Anthony Dennis Melton II. He is the son of Susie Melton of Oran, Mo., and Tony Melton of Sikeston, Mo.

Broshuis is a 2005 graduate of Advance High School. She received a bachelor's degree in secondary education at Southeast Missouri State University, with concentration in Spanish. She is pursuing a master's degree in secondary administration. She is a high school Spanish teacher with Jackson School District.

Melton is a 1997 graduate of Oran High School. He is a corrections officer at Southeast Correctional Center.

A July 7 wedding is planned in Cape Girardeau.
