Bowman-Smith

Rodney and Vickie Bowman of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Michelle Bowman, to Scott Neal Smith. He is the son of Donnie and Karen Smith of Millersville.

Bowman is a 2001 graduate of Central High School, and is pursuing a degree in nursing at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Smith is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed by the city of Cape Girardeau in the engineering department.

A Dec. 21 wedding is planned at Harmony Congregational Methodist Church.
