Bowers-Fulenwider

Mike and Debbie Bowers of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Tammy Marie Bowers, to Zachary Patterson Fulenwider. He is the son of Dixie Fulenwider of Jackson, and the late Dr. R.A. Fulenwider Jr.

Bowers received a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Southeast Missouri State University, and is pursuing a master's degree in elementary counseling from the University of Columbia. She is a kindergarten teacher at Woodland School District.

Fulenwider received an associate's degree in civil construction technology from Mineral Area Community College. He is a blueprint estimator with Arrowhead Steel.

A July 14 wedding is planned at New McKendree United Methodist Church.
