Boos - Swanson

Joseph and Kendra Boos of Gordonville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Leigh Boos, to Aaron Earl Swanson. He is the son of Brett and Jeannie Swanson of Blue Springs, Mo.

Boos is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration, with an emphasis in marketing, from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2008. She is a marketing analyst at hsb Marketing in Kansas City, Mo.

Swanson is a 2003 graduate of Arch Bishop O'Hara High School in Kansas City. He received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from UM-C in 2007, a certificate of radiologic technology from Research Medical Center in Kansas City, and received certification of radiation therapy from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan. He is a radiation therapist at Kansas University Medical Center.

A June 22, 2013, wedding is planned at St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
