Birkman-Baggett

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Kenneth and Evelyn Birkman of Advance announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Dawn Birkman of Cape Girardeau, to Tanner Carter Baggett. He is the son of Daniel and Cheryl Baggett of Delta.

Birkman is a 2001 graduate of Advance High School, and is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in media studies at Southeast Missouri State University. She is an office assistant in the provost's office at Southeast.

Baggett is a 2004 graduate of Delta High School. He is currently in basic training with the U.S. Marine Corps in San Diego, Calif.

An Oct. 30 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Delta.
