David and Melissa Bierer of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Ann Bierer, to Austin Linn Hahs. He is the son of Jeff and Anita Hahs of Oak Ridge.

Bierer received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2012. She is a fourth grade teacher with Jackson School District.

Hahs is a 2006 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. He attended Perryville Higher Education Center for automotive service technology. He is employed by JLH Construction in Oak Ridge.

A Sept. 29 wedding is planned at Connection Point Church in Jackson.
