Beussink - Hammond

Glen and Paulette Beussink of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Katherine Beussink, to George Barton Hammond, both of Lexington, Kentucky. He is the son of Daryl and Kathy Hammond of Russell Springs, Kentucky.

Alison is a 2008 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2012. She is employed by Nestle Purina in Lexington.

George is a 2007 graduate of Russell County High School. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky-Lexington in 2011. He is a bank examiner for the state of Kentucky.

A Sept. 20 wedding is planned at Old St. Vincent's Church in Cape Girardeau.
