Gregory A. and Loretto T. Bergheger of Webster Groves, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Marie Bergheger, to Sean Herbert Seyer. He is the son of Dennis C. and Ellen T. Seyer of Cape Girardeau.
Bergheger is a 2002 graduate of Webster Groves High School, and is pursuing a degree in business administration at St. Louis Community College. She is site coordinator for Webster Groves School District Adventure Club.

Seyer is a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School, and received a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2005. He is pursuing a master's degree in history at the university.
An Aug. 4 wedding is planned at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church in St. Louis.
