Beck-Lauinger

Ralph Beck of Cape Girardeau and Angela Beck of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Beck, to Jebb Lauinger, both of Little River, S.C. He is the son of Terry Lauinger of Portland, Ore., and Sheryl Lalack of Tucson, Ariz.

Beck is a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School and received a bachelor of science degree in secondary education from the University of Missouri in 2003. She is a customer service representative at Horry County State Bank in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Lauinger is a graduate of East Anchorage High School in Anchorage, Alaska. He is a graduate of the Golf Academy of the Carolinas and is a PGA professional. He is an operational engineer in Fairbanks, Alaska, during the summer.

A March 26 wedding is planned at Francine's Gardens in Cape Girardeau.
