Barnett-Abt

Thomas and Margaret Barnett announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Marie Barnett, to Bradley Wayne Abt. He is the son of Francis Abt and Rebecca Davis, both of Cape Girardeau.

Barnett is a 1994 graduate of Perryville High School and is pursuing a degree in nursing at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by St. Francis Medical Center.

Abt is a 1994 graduate of Perryville High School. He is employed at Procter and Gamble.

A Dec. 8 wedding is planned at Trinity Baptist Church in St. Mary, Mo.
