Barks -- Martin

Robert and Renee Barks of Oak Ridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Barks, to Greg Martin, both of Oak Ridge. He is the son of Lenny and Mary Martin of Cape Girardeau.

Ashley is a 2007 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She received a medical administrative assistant certificate from the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center in 2011. She is a medical assistant at Gastroenterology Associates of Southeast Missouri.

Greg is a 2002 graduate of Shawnee High School in Wolf Lake, Illinois, and attended Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Illinois. He works at K-Lind Tile.

A May 10 wedding is planned at South Lake Tahoe, California. A reception will be held July 16 at the Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge.
