Baker -- Lynn

Brice and Lisa Baker of Stromsburg, Nebraska, announce the engagement of their daughter, Leann Lin Baker, of Kansas City, Missouri, to Whitney Franklin Lynn, also of Kansas City. He is the son of Danny and Tammy Lynn of Cape Girardeau.

Leann is a 2006 graduate of Cross County High School in Stromsburg, and a 2009 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in interior design and fashion merchandising and is employed by McCroskey Interiors of Kansas City as an interior designer.

Whit is a 2003 graduate of Cape Central High School in Cape Girardeau and a 2007 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in geographic information sciences and is employed by Wilson and Company as a geospatial analyst.

A Nov. 7 wedding is planned in Kansas City, where the couple will reside.
