The Scott City Police Department released the following items between November 23 and 28. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A warrant arrest was made in the 2100 block of Main Street.
  • A warrant arrest was made in the 600 block of Main Street.
  • Thomas L. Pettyjohn, 37, of Benton, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked/suspended and failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Robert C. Graff, 27, of Scott City was arrested on a Scott County warrant for felony distribution.
  • Matthew Thompson, 32, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of displaying the plates of another, possession of marijuana up to 35 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to show financial responsibility, speeding and failure to register as a Missouri resident.
  • Brandon D. McKissack, 22, of Scott City was arrested on a Dexter, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear, original charge of possession under 35 grams and false declaration.
  • Christopher A. Best, 39 of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked/suspended and speeding.

  • Driving while revoked/suspended was reported at Main Street and Second Street East.
  • Leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident was reported at Nellie Avenue and Fifth Street West.
  • A matter of record was reported in the 200 block of Cape Street.
  • Possession of a controlled substance was reported in the 3500 block of Nash Road.
  • A death investigation was reported in the 400 block of North Lincoln Street.
  • Tampering was reported in the 100 block of East Hopper Street.
  • Driving while revoked/suspended was reported in the 2100 block of East Outer Road.
