The Scott City Fire Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 12 to 19

• Medical assists were made Oct. 13 in the 600 block of Main Street, 400 block of Crites Street and at Ellis and Elm streets; Oct. 14 in the 1400 block of Main Street; Oct. 15 in the 28000 block of U.S. 61 and 700 block of East Fourth Street; Oct. 16 in the 100 block of Country Club Drive and at U.S. 61 and Greer Street; Oct. 17 in the 600 block of Main Street, 2000 block of Mary Street and 2800 block of Woodland Drive; Oct. 18 in the 200 block of Main Street, 900 block of Nellie Avenue and 1000 block of Goodhope Street; and Oct. 19 in the 100 block of Chapman Circle.
• Oct. 16, smoke in a residence was reported in the 400 block of North Lincoln Street.
• Oct. 16, fire alarm activation was reported in the 2500 block of James Street.
