DWI

  • Parish Edwards, 41, 325 Hope St., Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, no proof of insurance and a lane violation.

Arrest

  • Brandon Jeffers, 22, of Tamms, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for assault on a law enforcement officer.

Summons

  • Brandon Jeffers, 22, Tamms, Ill., received a summons for driving while revoked, false declaration and lane violation.

Thefts

  • Enterprise Leasing, 2008 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of a motor vehicle.
  • A wallet was reported stolen at 104 N. Henderson Ave.

Miscellaneous

  • A 34-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
  • Found property and possession of a controlled substance were reported.

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

  • Jennifer L. Moore, 30, 293 Wills Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated (drugs) and improper parking.
  • Jeremy D. Walz, 34, 720 W. Adams St., Apt. 6, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrest

  • Brian K. Davidson, 18, 874 County Road 324, Cape Girardeau, was arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor and received a summons for speeding.

Assault

  • An assault was reported on Optimist Hill Drive.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported on Elwanda Drive.
  • A theft was reported in the 200 block of Goodson Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • A court order violation was reported in the 500 block of North Oak Hill Road.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Donald Street.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 1600 block of West Independence Street.
