DWIs
* Deanna N. Hotop, 22, address not given, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive in a single lane.
* Daniel J. Scherer, 21, address not given, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and no license plate light.
Arrests
* Otis D. Rutherford, 19, address not given, was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for tampering and for failure to appear.
* Franklin R. Belden, 34, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine for speeding and improper registration
Summonses
* David R. Oliver, 40, of 316 Independence St., received a summons for failure to stop for a red light and driving while intoxicated.
Assaults
* An assault was reported at 727 N. Spanish St.
* An assault was reported at 921 William St.
Thefts
* A satellite radio was reported stolen and a window broken at 319 Park Drive.
* Tools were reported stolen at Jefferson Avenue and Middle Street.
* A bicycle was reported stolen at 45 S. Spanish St.
* Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported the theft of gasoline.
* Jaspers, 407 Morgan Oak St., reported the theft of gasoline.
* A lawn mower was reported stolen at 221 N. Sprigg St.
* A bicycle was reported stolen at 518 S. Ellis St.
* Bricks were reported stolen at 3105 Park Place.
* A vehicle was reported stolen at 829 S. Kingshighway. It was later recovered.
* License plates were reported stolen at 904 S. Ellis St.
Burglaries
* John's Pharmacy, 2001 Independence, reported an attempted burglary.
* Joey's Seafood and Grill, 155 Siemers Drive, reported an attempted burglary.
Property damage
* Carpet was reported damaged at 139 S. Park St.
* A white convertible top was reported damaged at 1710 N. Sprigg St.
* Four tires and a convertible top were reported damaged at 422 Bellevue St.
* A tailgate was reported dented at 1440 Independence St.
* McGinty Jewelers, 117 N. Main St., reported a broken window.
