Arrests
* Jason E. Ashley, 27, 1005 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.
* A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges for stealing.
* Barry A. Tyler, 27, 1032 Sturdivant St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for stealing.
* Jessica R. Criddle, 19, 1005 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
* A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges for distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended.
* Latrice Monique Jeffries, 21, of St. Louis, was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear.
* Nikki Larue Russell, 32, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for driving while suspended.
Summonses
* Ronald L. Davis, of Marble Hill, Mo., was issued a summons for striking a stopped vehicle.
* Beverly Sue Mead, 1437 Kingsway Drive, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

* Assault and property damage were reported.
Theft
* An air conditioner was reported stolen and a door lock damaged at 716 Jefferson Ave.
* A bag containing vinyl siding samples was reported stolen and a vehicle was damaged at 1226 Harmony St.
* Gasoline was reported stolen at Jaspers, 1008 N. Kingshighway.
* Keys and sunglasses were reported stolen at 1506 Kurre Lane.
* Vehicle windows were reported broken and a TV stolen at 220 S. Lorimier St.
* First-aid supplies were reported stolen at Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.
* A vending machine coin box and money were reported stolen at 3439 William St.
Property damage
* A glass door was reported broken at Capaha Bank, 1 S. Main St.
* A window and screen were reported broken at 224 S. Lorimier St.
* A window was reported broken at 530 S. Pacific St.
* A window and screen were reported damaged 1 Capaha Park.
* Property damage was reported.
* A storm window and air conditioner were reported damaged at 1711 Henry St.
* A zipliner was reported damaged at 124 N. Henderson Ave.
Miscellaneous
* Failure to return a stereo and home theater were reported at Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway.
* Possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia were reported.
* A fireworks violation was reported.
* Alteration (removal of numbers with the intent to deprive the owner) was reported.
* Interference with child custody was reported.
* Stalking was reported.
* A 17-year-old boy was taken into protective custody.
* Harassing phone calls were reported.

The following items were released Friday by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* Daniel P. Gause, 18, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault and resisting arrest.
* Kaseem S. Batchelor, 26, 159 Parkwood Drive, Lot 61, was arrested on suspicion of hindering prosecution.
* A 16-year-old female was referred to juvenile authorities for suspicion of hindering prosecution.
* Barbara Polen, 39, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of violation of an ex parte order.
Theft
* A wallet and credit cards were reported stolen in the 300 block of Colorado Street.
* A bicycle was reported stolen in the 1200 block of E. Main St.
* A bicycle was reported stolen at the city park.
* Theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Vandalism to a vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Oak Street.

* Littering was reported in the 1300 block of Deerwood Drive.
* A fraudulent check was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
* A fireworks complaint was reported in the 600 block of East Jefferson Street.

* Loud music was reported in the 1500 block of Rosebud Drive.

* Mitchell G. Smies, 17, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, domestic assault and stealing.
* Robert S. Bittner, 42, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
