* Craig A. Vandeven, 21, of 132 S. Benton St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, flashing red lights and expired plates.

Arrests

* Tasch L. Bierschwal, 26, of 1224 William St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended, driving unregistered vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.

* Douglas W. Guyton, 25, of 1143 S. Pacific St., was arrested on suspicion of trafficking cocaine.

* Donald R. Bass, 38, of 805 William St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for driving with no operator's license.

* Kevin S. Miller, 36, of Scott City, was arrested on a federal ATF warrant.

* Christin R. Beard, 24, of Millersville, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for nonsupport.

* J.C. Larmar Brown, 25, of 13 N. Fountain St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for resisting with arrest, no operator's license, driving while intoxicated, motor vehicle financial responsibility requirements and dimming of lights.

* Bobbie J. Davis, 28, of 1024 William St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for no operator's license, leaving the scene of an accident and motor vehicle financial responsibility requirements.

* Edwardo I. Burns, 54, of Gilbertsville, Ky., was arrested on an Clair County, Ill., warrant for probation violation.

* Margaret M. Jackson, 30, of 429 N. Frederick St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for assault on a law enforcement officer.

Summonses

* Joseph E. Gockel Jr., 57, of Scott City, received a summons for harassment by telephone.

* Rebecca L. Jones, 37, of Scott City, received a summons for harassment by telephone.

Assaults

* Assault of an officer, trespassing, escape from confinement, peace disturbance, resisting arrest, interfering with arrest and endangering welfare were reported.

* An assault was reported.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* JC Penney, 200 West Park Mall, reported the theft of clothes.

* Bi-State, 920 N. Kingshighway, reported the theft of gasoline.

* Project Hope, 1911 Woodlawn Ave., reported a theft and forgery.

* A check was reported stolen at 605 Mechaw Drive.

* Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported the theft of DVDs, medication and cosmetics.

* Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported the theft of cosmetics. Brandy D. Davis, 24, of East Prairie, Mo., and Karen M. Turner, of East Prairie, Mo., were arrested in connection to the complaint.

* Two incidents of Identity theft were reported.

* Dairy Queen, 1036 N. Sprigg St., reported the theft of money.

* A passport was reported stolen at 3049 William St.

* Medication was reported stolen at 2464 Cheetah Lane.

* A Missouri license plate was reported stolen at 1943 Carolina Lane.

Property damage

* A vehicle was reported damaged in the 600 block of South Sprigg Street.

* Ole Country Store, 1007 S. Sprigg St., reported a damaged soda machine.

* A black mailbox was reported damaged at 316 Lakewood Drive.

* An animal bite was reported.

* Prostitution was reported in the 600 block of Good Hope Street.

DWI

* Christopher R. Benton, 18, of Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and being minor in possession of intoxicating liquor.

* Jonathon D. Welter, 27, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Johnny Pollard, 34, of Cape Girardeau, was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended, possession of a controlled substance and failure to stop for a stop sign.

* Ryan A. Zust, 19, of Chesterfield, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for property damage and trespassing.

* Eugene W. Heisserer, 55, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for assault and assault of a law enforcement officer.

Summons

* Devin L. Eastman, 17, of Jackson, received a summons for being a minor in possession of intoxicating liquor and failure to drive on the right half of the road.
