Arrests

* Avery L. Winks, 47, of 326 S. Lorimier St., was arrested on a warrant for probation violation for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture, on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation and on suspicion of false declaration.

* Michael R. Fitzpatrick, 26, of 319 N. Park Ave. was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for parole violation and on suspicion of possession of controlled substance.

* Theresa L. Johnson, 33, of 124 S. Lorimier St., was arrested on a Broward County, Fla., warrant for possession of cocaine.

* Otis D. Rutherford, 19, of 630 S. Benton St., and Martez S. Bell, 20, of 421 S. Ellis St., were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Assaults

* Assault and assault of a law enforcement officer were reported.

* A vehicular assault was reported.

* Domestic assault was reported.

* Attempted assault and trespassing were reported.

Thefts

* A speaker box was reported stolen and a window broken at 1425 Perryville Road.

* Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported a theft. LeeAnn D. Hopson, 22, of 224 N. Park Ave., was arrested in connection with the complaint.

* Video games were reported stolen at 337 S. Sprigg St.

* Famous-Barr, 100 West Park Mall, reported the theft of clothing. Renee J. Shaffer, 27, of Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested in connection with the complaint.

* KMart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported the theft of a knife. Cedric L. Buckner, 17, of Caruthersville, Mo., was arrested in connection with the complaint.

* A Missouri license plate was reported stolen at 725 S. Ranney Ave.

Property damage

* Cingular Wireless, 1131 N. Kingshighway, reported counter damage and a broken window.

* Hare Scare, 512 1/2 Broadway reported a broken window.

* A vehicle window was reported damaged at Washington Avenue and Fountain Street.

Miscellaneous

* Eleven incidents of fraudulent use of a credit device were reported.

* Two incidents of forgery were reported at 612 S. Sprigg St.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Assaults

* A 13-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for domestic assault.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 200 block of Green Meadows Drive.

* A theft was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Broadridge Drive.

* A violation of a court order was reported in the 100 block of Court Street.

* Fraud was reported in the 200 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

* Child abuse was reported in the 400 block of North Russell Street.

Cape Girardeau County

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Jeffrey D. Sutton, 29, of Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Lawrence A. Guthrie, 40, of Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Ronnie G. Cook, 22, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and unlawful use of a weapon.

Arrests

* Nicholas C. Hurdle, 17, of Jackson, was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for burglary/stealing and for failure to appear for speeding/failure to wear a seat belt.

* Dana L. Cureton, 24, of Cape Girardeau, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for traffic violation.

* Christopher D. Overy, 18, of Oak Ridge, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for receiving stolen property.

* Devin M. Biri, 17, of Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for burglary/stealing.

* Jerry D. Crossfield, 39, of St. Charles, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for speeding, and on a Gordonville police warrant for driving without a valid license.

Southeast Missouri State University

The following items were released by the Southeast Department of Public Safety. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summons

* Jonathan A. Seyer, of 2031 Beth Drive, received a summons for assault.

Thefts

* A computer and case were reported stolen.

Miscellaneous

* Sexual misconduct was reported at Rose Theatre.
