The following items were released Wednesday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* Randy Gale Huffman, 46, 10258 Route W, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of possession with the intent to distribute.
* Julius Wade Gant, 29, 312 W. Lorimier St., Apt. 360, was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, resisting arrest and possession of burglary tools.
* Julie Kay Thompson, 39, 1514 Kathleen Drive, Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to comply.
* A subject is in custody pending the filing of formal charges for attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
* A subject is in custody pending the filing of formal charges for failure to signal, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
* Kevin Craig Jungers, 46, 3050 Patriot Drive, was arrested on suspicion of fraudulent attempt to obtain a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
* A suspect is in custody pending the filing of formal charges for stealing.
Summons
* Christy Renee Rains, 25, 1010 Elm St., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of litter.
Theft
* Car Title Loans of America, 605 N. Kingshighway, reported four stolen checks, each for $500.
* A speaker and amplifier were reported stolen and a driver's side door window and lock were reported damaged at 3035 Themis St.
* Sides Recycling, 800 Giboney St., reported the theft of miscellaneous metals, a cash tray and a pit bull dog.
* An Alpine CDA stereo, Memphis speakers and cigarettes were reported stolen at 3125 Themis St.
* A Nokia cell phone was reported stolen from 900 Normal St.
* Ten CDs were reported stolen from 208 Barberry St.
* Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported the theft of a DVD/VCR combo and miscellaneous DVDs.
* Money and a gun were reported stolen from 220 S. Lorimier St.
