Cape Girardeau
The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
* Wyman Y. Hoefer, 38, of 2556 Independence St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, stop sign violation, and a red light violation.
Arrests
* Carl E. Walton Jr., 30, of 1200 Cousin St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
* Steven D. Edmonds, 20, of 1557 Trenton Lane, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court and failure to appear.
* Troy M. Comstock, 23, of Watertown, N.Y., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
* Joe D. Davis, 20, of 902 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
* Dorthy L. Babers, 26, of 121 E. Rodney Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for no seat belt.
* Joseph W. Holman, 31, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on a Poplar Bluff, Mo., warrant for failure to appear and on a Wayne County warrant for a liquor violation.
* Garrett K. William, 18, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on a Chaffee warrant for liquor violation.
Assaults
* Four assaults were reported.
* A domestic assault was reported. One person was in custody in connection to the complaint pending formal charges.
* A domestic assault was reported.
Thefts
* Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported the theft of clothing and other items. A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year old boy were taken into custody in connection with the complaint.
* A Kawasaki motorcycle was reported stolen from 1327 Howell St.
* Money was reported stolen from Independence Street and Park Drive.
* A Missouri license plate was reported stolen from 31 N. Lorimier St.
* A black purse, cellular telephone and cash were reported stolen from 127 Water St.
* A cellular telephone was reported stolen at 829 S. Kingshighway.
Burglary
* A burglary was reported at 38 N. Henderson Ave. Cash was reported stolen.
Property damage
* Glass was reported broken out of a vehicle at 1508 N. Spanish St.
* A vehicle window was reported broken on South Lorimier Street.
Miscellaneous
* Child abuse was reported.
* Interference with child custody was reported.
* Trespassing was reported at 716 Broadway.
