DWIs

* Jamie L. Lemons, of 610 Sycamore Circle, No. 3, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain right half of the roadway.

* A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, assault on a law enforcement officer, leaving the scene, resisting arrest, driving on a revoked license and operating an unlicensed vehicle.

Arrests

* Michael A. Mason, 38, of 518 S. Pacific St., was arrested for peace disturbance.

* Joel Perez, 44, of 3020 Boutin, No. 130, was arrested for peace disturbance.

* Orlando D. Price, 18, of Route 1 Box 42, Tamms, Ill., was arrested for fleeing a lawful detention.

Assault

* Second-degree assault was reported at 2815 S. Sprigg St.

Theft

* Rhonye D. Lincoln, 18, of 422 3rd, Mounds, Ill., was arrested for stealing trading cards.

* Food was reported stolen at Denny's Restaurant, 161 West St.

* Two juveniles were taken into custody for stealing jewelry at 3049 William St.

* Gas was reported stolen at Rhodes 101 Convenience Store, 449 S. Kingshighway.

* A camera and Christmas gifts were reported stolen from 122 S. Hanover St.

* A CD player was reported stolen at 353 S. Kingshighway.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported at 735 William St, No. 5.

* Property damage was reported at 122 S. Hanover St.

Miscellaneous

* A 25-year-old male was taken into protective custody.

* A juvenile was taken into custody for beyond parental control and minor in possession by consumption.

* A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges for forgery at the 100 block of South Ellis Street.

* A white female was taken into protective custody.

* Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at the 700 block of Broadway.
