Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Andrew Wayne Montgomery, 22, of St. Louis was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with an expired operator's license and failing to yield at Sprigg and New Madrid streets.

Arrests

* A 24-year-old woman was taken into protective custody at 701 Broadway.

* A man was taken into custody pending the issuance of a state warrant on charges of domestic assault, resisting arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer and property damage at 651 Napa Circle.

* Dorsilyn Gaines, 35, of 259 N. Park was arrested on a warrant for forgery.

Assault

* A sexual assault was reported.

Thefts

* A woman's wallet was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Good Hope Street.

* Fuel was reported stolen from Amerimart, 865 N. Kingshighway.

* Clothing was reported stolen from Kohl's Department Store, 315 Shirley Drive.

* Fuel was reported stolen from Rhodes 101, 2109 William St.

* A ring was reported stolen from Claire's at 173 West Park Mall.

Summons

* Police issued a summons to Karen Cook of 2721 Hawthorne Road for failure to yield.

Miscellaneous

* A knife was found at William Street and Silver Springs Road.

* Interference with child custody was reported at Capaha Park.

* Interference with child custody was reported at the police station, 40 S. Sprigg St.
