* Kenneth M. Griffin Jr., 20, of St. Louis, Mo., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.

* Hubert Seals, 84, of 818 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.

* Dominic A. Arnold, 25, of 1000 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on a Union County, Ill., warrant for failure to appear.

* Lattie A. Clark, 46, of 612 Emerald St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Joanna M. Lawler, 18, of 206 N. Cottonwood, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear and on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Ricky C. Mosley, 39, of 521 S. Middle St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.

* Mannuel T. Ware, 25, of 805 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on an Alexander County warrant for failure to appear.

Burglaries

* Southeast Missouri Hospital Pharmacy, 69 Doctors Park, reported an attempted burglary.

* Burglary was reported at 1409 Brookshire Road. Jewelry was reported taken.

Thefts

* Various items were reported stolen at 2043 Beth Drive.

* Wal-Mart, 3429 William St., reported a RCS CD and MP3 player stolen.

* A Huffy bicycle was reported stolen at 10 S. Henderson Ave.

* Schnucks, 19 N. Kingshighway, reported candy stolen. A 13-year-old boy was taken into custody in connection with the complaint.

* Money Time Pawn, 1901 "A" Independence St., reported a PlayStation II and Sony MDX player stolen.

* Kidd's gas station, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported cell phone accessories stolen.

* A motor vehicle was reported stolen at 1821 Margaret St.

* Discount Smoke Shop, 340 S. Sprigg St., reported a robbery.

* A bicycle was reported taken at Jefferson Avenue and Sprigg Street. It was later recovered.

* A jacket was reported taken at 205 Caruthers Ave.

* A purse was reported taken in the 200 block of South Louisiana Avenue.

* A wallet was reported taken at 205 Caruthers Ave.

Property Damage

* A truck fender was reported damaged at Houck Place and Broadway.

Miscellaneous

* A Hitachi VHS camcorder was reported found in the 300 block of Albert Street.

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported at a Bank of America.
